Damn...the BBC has put out so many good shows, it's hard to pick the best.
There are the ones I've watched and would watch again, like
Allo Allo
Black adder
Faulty towers
Yes, minister
BBC wildlife with David Attenborough
Horizon
QI
And many I'm certainly forgetting.

Oops, forgot Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Up Pompeii and probably loads more as I remember them.
If we expand it to independent television, as previously with The Bill, add the fantastic Father Ted and On The Buses.

Oh yeah, I used to watch QI a lot (mostly on Youtube since they won't let America watch it), but I haven't seen any since Stephen Fry left.

More radio - I'm kicking myself for forgetting about these:
The Goon Show
The Navy Lark
I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again
Star Terk 2 (sic - that's its real name)
And television (BBC):
The Good Life
The Brittas Empire
Naked Video
Rab C Nesbitt
(Non-BBC):
Worzel Gummidge
Sapphire and Steel
