For a man it makes more sense to get young fertile eggs, for a woman it makes sense to get a powerful man with money, resources, status and so on.
I don't think Bill's jokes or laugh would work as well on women if he worked at a petrol station.
Dude, no. If any of my real life friends heard something like that as an explanation of something related to me, they'd laugh. I'm the most simple person when it comes to money and resources. I truly don't give a fuck what people have. [snipped examples, because TMI]
But what's funny is that you think that what attracts us is his money and "power". Lmao suuuuure because the tv and internet don't have so many other rich younger and better looking dudes to stalk if we felt attracted to those things. It doesn't even make sense.
Also... I'm thinking of the top 7 people who I find attractive (non famous) at this time and I know for sure that 5 of them are broke. Lol hadn't thought of that, but since it came up, why not? I'd buy their beer, no problem. Efff. I do have a weakness for intelligence paired with a smooth, cool, and funny personality. Dude can live in a basement, but know how to build a computer, flirt, and just be cool as fuck, and boom. I once went crazy over a woman I met (whom I still regret losing) and I would have been the sole bread winner if I had kept her close, no problem. If that's what she wanted. Faaaaak. She was special. My depression issues got in the way, though. (Whispers to her: hey, sorry for everything)
So anyway, nah. Your theory, at least in my case, doesn't pass. I know it's a long response but dammit! I've heard this one so many fucking times while sitting at my favorite bar, conversations between dudes, and I sit there trying as hard as I can to not rant and roll my eyes at these strangers. At least now I can do it over the internet. Bahahah
Thats so freaking funny, because I really do feel the same. Money and things have never been something I cared about. I can see why people would think Bill is sexy for his money, but truthfully I'd rather live in a cardboard box with someone I love than a rich asshole. I'd live with Moondoogie or the Cahuna in a makeshift shack. (Gidget References). Id take care of someone financially if they were my valued partner. But honestly, I don't know what Bill is like when he's off the air. He's a fantasy at this point. Yes looks are important, but sometimes personality wins. I totally understand how money and power could be his attraction, but some of the happiest people are broke, go figure.
I would go back to South Africa in a second and live with the Zulu tribe I once was accepted and welcomed in. No money, No toilet or shower, clean water was a 45 min
hike. The simplicity of their lives were attractive, and the sweet smiles of love and contentment.
I was a born-again christian for many years then I got woke.. and now life is better in so many ways. It's taking me time to see my value and find my voice, but the reward is liberating knowing my path is not dictated or controlled by fear of death and the unknown. Casting off the shackles of religion is pretty fucking awesome. The beautiful people I've met on this forum have more heart and compassion than any group of people I've been apart of. So back off Jesus and followers, because this bitch is done with Chu.

(Standing ovation)
My parents were pastor/missionaries when I was growing up. They started churches from scratch and helped in others for so many years in both USA and Mexico. The way we lived I can now see was very very very simple. Actually, people would have called us poor. I didn't feel poor, though. I felt just fine. Maybe it has to do with why I don't care about material stuff. I can do just fine with so little.

I tend to my financial needs adequately enough, so "men with money" have never automatically garnered my attention/gotten my motor running. The prospect of being beholden to someone actually makes me quite un-horny.
A guy who's simply able to carry his own weight works well enough for me.
