Wa-hey!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

"Dear" is considered a pretentious archaic construction, and can also be construed as condescending. You might want to consider expunging it from your writing style.
Quote:Today I will talk about posters in forums I have been to.
It is my experience that most posters a very big number of, they are into saying nothing from their very own personal thinking and writing.
First of all, as you almost certainly do not possess the ability to read our minds, you have no way of determining what we think.
Secondly, what we are saying is definitely not "nothing." You are, in my opinion, just disrespecting what we say because we are disagreeing with you.
Quote:By the way, you see, dear atheist colleagues here, I am not talking with atheists in order to save them, but in order to learn from them...
And what, if anything, have you learned so far? You don't strike me as someone who is here to learn. You present as someone who believes he already has all the answers to Life, the Universe and Everything. You talk down to people. You obfuscate your arguments with semantic fapping and insult your interlocutors whenever you can squeeze some passive-aggressive sneer into the cadence of your wordy, bloated text.
Quote:Anyway, I continued there and read a thread there of mathematicians talking about Maths, so even though I am not a mathematician I submitted a post there, to ask mathematicians whether they know about the conceptival realm and the objectival realm in the world of existence (what other worlds are there, dear atheist colleagues, think carefully now, at least once in your atheist identity life), this time happy surprise of surprises, it came out right away without any pre-notice of pre-approval.
Now, why would you do such a silly thing as that? It's tantamount to signing up for a trombone forum and asking them for a spaghetti sauce recipe. Can't you at least try to stay on topic?
I think the problem is with you, Mariosep, not with everyone else. Until you can understand how your writing style and your condescension affect other people, and work hard to correct those flaws, you'll have this same problem over and over no matter where you go.

Yeah, but I know where he's coming from.
I know, as an atheist, some of the despicable things I've done around the world...

Cracks me up when they do that. Like he thought he'd dress you down, lower your pay and reassign you to a lower station. But given the kind of whoppers they have to weave into their experience everyday, it is easy to understand.

Nobody 'convinces us' to make people moderators. Staff are chosen from any and all members who that staff of the time believe will make a good contribution to the running and moderation of the forum. People can try and convince us all they want but if we don't need a new moderator and we do not believe they are a good fit then it won't matter.

I for one didn't have to do anything special to get selected for Mod status; apart perhaps from earning some little respect from those who decided I was worthy of the position. I merely logged in one morning to find a private message from Tiberius inviting me to the team. I had no expectation that the day would be any different to any other. Nor did I then, and nor do I now, have any knowledge of the discussions that took place behind the scenes that prompted the invitation.
If Mario has any evidence to support his insinuations of corruption, I want him to present it. Out here in public, the way he made his allegations.

There really isn't any discussion behind the scenes regarding potential new mods or admins.
We just review the prospects' files provided by Interatheist LLC, Uni-atheist.com, Poly-nontheist Inc., and of course, the Illuminati website.
I don't remember an occasion when the choice wasn't bloody obvious to everyone tasked with deciding.
All you candidates out there, just keep drinking that Christian baby blood, probably the best indicator of becoming a mod here is how much and how often you get that heady elixir !!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Are you saying that BJ had nothing to do with my selection as a mod??

Well, it swung my vote in your favour. Among other things.
