If one is referring to the primitive Christian god named Yahweh, then; "God created mankind in his image; in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27)

The simple and logical syllogism is since mankind is both male and female, and Yahweh created both in his image, then Yahweh is a Hermaphrodite.

Like I keep stating, Christianity is the best Vaudeville Act known to mankind!

.

It's a metaphor and shame on you for not reading that verse differently in keeping with the correct spirit of things as decided by church poohbahs who don't like the rabble in the pews bringing up stuff that is confusing and/or makes them or the interpretation they made up about their God look silly.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Exactly, god metaphorically created us.  By which it means to say, he didn't - but it makes for a nice story and sets up a bunch of useful just-so's.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Well since Taweret has always been portrayed as a female, I'd say that means God is definitely female.

RE: A interesting question
I think it's kindof cool how much time has been spent, by our species collectively, either portioning up or pulling together the universe and then trying to determine, on that basis, the gender of a normative god.

There have been countless little g gods of rivers.  Where the river is turbulent and lethal, we may ascribe a masculine deity..where the water is calm and life nourishing..we often imagine a more feminine aspect (some cultures go the other way with it, based cheifly on their ideas of gender norms).  We're trying to figure out the nature of the river, in either case..and not for no reason.  If we can understand the nature of the river we might be able to predict it.  Under all of that, though, we're supplying much more informative thoughts on the nature of ourselves than any river, or any river god.,...or any god of all the rivers..or of all things.

To me, that's the big takeaway from religion. All the nasty shit that we might find in any given god, and all the good shit...ultimately it's a reflection or projection of ourselves..and we're obviously as complicated and contradictory as the god concept itself. I'm a stone cold killer that likes rom coms and glitter and smokin the peace pipe....does that make me male or female?

Because the bible doesn't assign god a gender i hear god is a guy a lot but there is no conclusive proof in the book(s).

Based on biblical text; god is a real prick towards females, so it stands to reason the god must be male.
