Something tells me that you didn't read the article. Google's website in China used to redirect to the Hong Kong site automatically. The Chinese government threatened to block Google in China, and so Google changed the redirect to a click-through link. If you visit Google China, you can't do a search straight away. You have to click on the page, at which point you get redirected to the Hong Kong site (which isn't censored).

A definite God-worthy act of epic proportions.

Speaking of Google, has anybody had problems with the new search? I keep having issues where it doesn't pick up all of my keystrokes if I type fast. For example, if I were to search "atheistforums," something like this would show up in the search bar "aesorms." It's seriously pissing me off.
