Without a concerted, serious, and well funded program to start reining in human population growth, the elephants (and so many other lifer forms too) are ROYALLY fucked regardless of Trumply.
Say bye bye cheetahs, giraffes, frogs, bees, tigers, mammoths (oops, already nailed them) . . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

That is a quite worrying, if not frightening, article. It confirms most of my own thoughts on the personalities of those two men, Putin is a master strategist and tactician in the political theatre and Trump is an arrogant, bumbling fool.

One paragraph in that article shows the slop0y use of language that both muddies facts and inflames rhetoric in politics:

That is ambiguous, it invites the thought that Trump is simply not admitting his offences.
But then, if he admitted all his offences it would probably take year two of his term (at least) to list and debate them. If it included his offensiveness, well, that's at least the rest of his term occupied.
