In mere reality, we help people all over the globe. The US has been the most powerful force for good the world has ever seen. That, Chad, is how we ended up with all this geopolitical power. Power that we need to survive, that you..whether you realize it or not, directly benefit from in your day to day life. It doesn't mean that we're angels, or that every idea we have is a good one. Still, you shouldn't let people who are very much against your own interests gaslight you into letting their propaganda fall from your mouth.

No regime change wars my ass. No regime change wars -is- a regime change, from the current world order, with the US and UN and international law and geneva conventions and representative government at the head, to...something else...whatever dream that the poor, put on despots of the world have failed to achieve.

I would never claim that America doesn't have problems. Hell, that's part of the reason why we should get out of everyone else's business. Yeah, we're the ones who need a regime change. Screaming about Iran nuclear weapons, while we pull out of the Iran deal that other European countries are in, while we remain the only country who has ever attacked another country with a nuke. Saudi Arabia is committing genocide in Yemen, and we're blockading it. We're keeping food and medicine from entering countries. We're not over there to help our fellow man. were in countries confiscating a fuel resource that we probably should have bypassed by now.

Hell, we're still using coal. Coal! The coal jobs are leaving? Gee, wonder why. Maybe we should replace them with clean energy at some point.

Yeah. Tens of billions going into an already bloated military, while people ask how could we ever find the money for universal healthcare?

We're already in like seven or eight different wars, and damn it if we're not trying to go to war with Iran and Venezuela too. Our country freaked the fuck out when Russia put missiles in Cuba, but now we've got drones flying over countries, and ground troops securing oil fields.

This is a sore spot for me. I'm certainly not going to bash someone who says let's pull our troops out and just talk to leaders like Human beings, and maybe we can come to a civilized agreement, instead of arming terrorist groups and toppling leaders.

Well, leave that to me. For all of our problems, I absolutely will bash potentates who gas their own people and the US politicians who excuse them with some both-sides-ing bullshit....and then sell that to you as "no regime change wars".......

There will never be a "civil agreement" between us and people who don't see people as people. That's just a way to cover your eyes and ears, plug your nose, and let it go down.

What do you mean "now"? As soon as she announced her candidacy russian state tv started promoting her hard. Her positions on critical issues align with his interests. Naturally, they're fluffing her while simultaneously insisting that everyone who isn't in the tank for despots just drop out. The kremlin can, does, and will continue to use that to mainstream those positions within the democratic party.

To the point that otherwise sane people will call them "reasonable".

All I can say is, I agree that the military needs toning down, hard, and if things escalate to war with Russia, we'll probably have WW3 on our hands. So yeah, I like Tulsi. If other countries like her too, then all the better. Maybe we can actually have fewer wars in the future if that happens. That sounds like a net gain to me.
