Firstly, counting up dollars isn;t actually a good measure of productivity, since financial instruments create dollars even when they create no tangible product. Secondly, "irresponsible unproductive" people are still effected by legislation, often more effected than their relatively wealthy peers - so they're going to get a say in it. It's already a small to ceremonial say...your wealth requirement for citizenship would only give up on the pretense of enfranchisement - not alter the reality.

Drug laws fill the prisons with poor people, not because they do more drugs or because they're less productive, or more irresponsible...but simply because they are poor. Just one example.

I say all of this with complete confidence in the fact of you being a filthy poor, Dmitry. You could always self deport and free your betters from the burden of carrying you. That applies in life, but also on the boards, lol.

I mean, I get that it's pretty relative, that's small potatoes compared to a dinner at the presidential palace at Mar a Lago, for example. So I suppose that if we're being asked whether we would have to pay plutocrats directly, and in massively large amounts, to have a voice in self governance - I'd rather pay that 10k to the clerk of the court, sure.
