The Official "Damned Trump" Thread

They're nobody.  The president was asked if he would denounce white supremacists, he said he would, then asked what we wanted to call them, decided to call them proud boys...and then...called them to action to stop election fraud and fight antifa.

It was fucking bizarre.

I watched the debate. Trump's exact statement was "Stand by and stand back." The Proud Boys were quick to put out a Telegram with those words as a slogan. And as a response to the last segment about voting, Trump's even used QAnon rhetoric about "Poll Observers." No doubt about intimidating people going in-person voting at poll stations.

I have read a few things lately that do make me a little apprehensive about going to the polls.

When I voted in the primary the line for Republicans snaked all throughout the library.  When I arrived I was about number 10 in the Democrat line.

In front of the library, and where you couldn't get in without passing near them, was a group trying to hand out Republican literature and trying to pull people aside to speak to them.  I didn't see evidence of any protection in case things got heated.  

I have to wonder what next month will be like.  Early voting starts the 13th of October and I don't qualify for mail in voting here in Texas.

Help me with this please.  Who and what are the proud boys.  I hear them mentioned but haven't really grasped the concept.

They like to consider themselves the Sturmabteilung and Schutzstaffel for Trump.

As far as I am concerned, Cheeto-head, AKA Donald J. Trump, is sack of shit, a waste of skin, and a damn traitor, as is everyone who blindly follows him and think he is a second coming. I am actually really scared for this country. I am scared what will happen if Trump wins (the damage he will do for 4 more years) and if Trump loses. Many of his supporters seem to get more unhinged by the day. I am just worried how they will react when Trump loses. But then again, maybe I'm giving them too much credit. And I'm worrying too much.
