People are starting to say that Donald Trump’s term in office marked the beginning of the end of the Republican Party. Personally, I think he should be remembered for his failures and not his successes.

At work.
But wouldn't going back to such times as Teddy Roosevelt's "Small R 'Republicans'." be a good thing?

President Biden removes President Trump’s Diet Coke button (msn.com)
Trump had a damn button to summon a butler with a Diet Coke on the desk in the Oval Office.
Wonder where the button was for someone to bring the Adderall to him and whatever it was Jr. was on.

So Trump had no plan at all on how to handle COVID - that's because working is hard, and there is always something fun on TV to watch.
Quote:Biden is promising to administer 100 million vaccinations in his first 100 days, but the vaccine rollout across the country has been slow. That’s because the Trump administration didn’t have a plan for vaccine distribution, says Osterholm, who also serves as a member of Biden’s coronavirus advisory board.
“There is no plan, or was no plan, by the Trump administration in terms of distribution, how to actually talk to the public about these vaccines and educate [people] about why they're so important to their health,” he says.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Trump's COVID plan worked almost as well as the wall between the US and Mexico.
He didn't even get around to pardoning the Tiger King.
Lazy, fat-assed POS.

Part of me wants to link to that routine where Bill Hicks tore into George Michael for hawking Diet Coke, but part of me also thinks that, because that particular routine does include quite a bit of casual homophobia (although to be fair, it was done in 1989, both long before Michael came out and acceptance of homosexuality was mainstream), it’s probably not appropriate.

As I thought, Trump did not pardon any of the sickos he incited to attempt to overthrow the government. "I'll be there with you" was just the fucker's rhetoric to use people for his own personal gain. The asshole fled back to the White House and left them holding the bag.

Lawyer for the 'Q Shaman' who stormed the Capitol in a fur headdress with horns says his client feels 'duped' after Trump didn't pardon him (msn.com)
He sure did leave his followers just hanging out there on their own.
I'm sort of enjoying watching them fall...wondering how far up the arrests will go.

The worst part is that even if these people he threw under the bus, even though some of them will and have said they were only doing what Trump said, even if they testify, and even with the video of others saying Trump invited him and they were there on behalf of Trump, the GOP has their head so far up Trump's ass they don't care.
"Duped" is what Jim Jones followers were. "Duped" was what Hitler's follower's were. "Duped" is what Stalin's followers were. And yes, "Duped" is what Trump's followers are.
I wish his loss would be the end of it, but this is just a breather.

I don't think people can be duped that completely without wanting to be duped.
