Donald is doing what any autocrat worth their salt does and is phasing out media that opposes him. Another example of this would be Vladimir Putin gaining executive control of Russian televised media within a year of assuming the presidency in 2000.

He must be proud to inhabit a private little world where the free press of his own country is "fake news", where as the state controlled press of an authoritarian power that sends dissenting journalists to "Re-education" camps is to be trusted.
The man who inhabits such a private little world is the leader of the free world and final arbiter of where to explode half of the world's nuclear arsenal.
