Still not ginger!
That limit of 12 regenerations should have gone out the door by the time Matt Smith had to go. I'm sure they'll either brush it off, or give some half assed explanation for it... Either way, don't care. I just want the doctor who fix!

Excellent. I've been...apprehensive, but open-minded to a female Doctor in the past. I'm glad they've made the leap and actually done it. We shall see how competently they handle the change in the writing department in the near future.

If you want to see something funny look for a YouTube video of Rowan Atkinson as the Doctor. It's very well done.
Especially with Joanna Lumley.

I noticed that, too, regarding the number of regenerations. Isn't this going to be the thirteenth? How are they going to explain that?
Perhaps one of those operations?

It did, I thought.
Haven't seen the past season yet, but didn't the 11th Doctor get extra regenerations after Clara asked Gallfrey to help him so he could take on the Daleks in The Time of the Doctor?

I don't remember that...but sure...why not make the regenerations something that the government of Gallifrey can add to?
It's not like it's always been a sort of biological ability that all time lords have, is it?

Clara goes to the Crack in Time and asks Gallifrey to help The Doctor.
Then later we get this line when The Doctor is about to regenerate into Capaldi
Doctor: Ha! It's started. I can't stop it now. This is just the reset. A whole new regeneration cycle. Ooo.
