Scaramucci Out As WH Comms Director

RE: Scaramucci Out As WH Comms Director
Bill Maher has been on vacation for the last month so he missed out, too.

I can imagine Stephen Colbert coming out tonight with just a big, shit-eating, grin.

Angry  Those are just "false flags"! This administration is a well-oiled machine! We're gonna repeal Obamacare and replace it with a much better plan! FFS. I really don't understand how people got behind him. Dole got trashed in his run for office on far less spectacularly insane shit. Huh  I will say it again, I know many people in law enforcement and otherwise, who voted for him. To a  couple of the LEOs, I just asked, "If you saw some guy pushing a shopping cart along the street, and he said shit like this, how long would it be, before you did a 5150 on him?".

5150
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

What dumpster fire? Appointing former Marine General John Kelly as the new WH Chief Of Staff is being hailed as a good thing. It's just the Never Trumpers who look for ghosts and fires where there are none. A new democrat poll, connected to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, just came out yesterday which shows that 61 percent of white blue collar working class voters in key battle ground states are dissatisfied with the democrat party. The poll also shows that Trump is still running strong with those voters. Those were the same voters who were once the dems' largest voting base who voted twice for Obama and who hadn't voted for a Republican President in better than 30 years until Trump. The Dems won't win elections without those voters. Besides resisting Trump as their main message the Dems better figure out a plan to win back their once largest voting base. 😉

Typical that you'd spout this off without actually posting links.
Also typical that someone has to bring that to your attention. Dodgy
Your precious shitgibbon has no control over the inner workings of his staff. He's out of control and needs to be OUT of the WH.
You tout off these numbers yet fail miserably to admit that shitgibbon has the lowest approval ratings of ANY sitting US president ever. Even Nixon had better numbers.

http://www.gallup.com/opinion/polling-ma...aign=tiles

Quote:About four in 10 Americans , and that figure has not changed materially over the past four months. Accounting for a small number of those without an opinion, a little less than six in 10 disapprove. That too has not changed.

He has a 39% approval rating for his first six months in office. Thirty Nine Percent. Let that marinate.

Quote:The portrait of those who approve of Trump's performance as president is pretty straightforward. About 76% of approvers are Republicans or Republican-leaning independents, which means that other demographic and geographic characteristics of Trump's support follow the general picture of those who identify as Republicans in our society today. These include whites, those who are highly religious, men and older Americans.

Dante Chinni recently reviewed Gallup data in the context of work done by the American Communities Project at George Washington University. This project categorizes all of the nation's counties into like-minded affinity groups. Trump's support is highest in counties classified as Evangelical Hubs, Working Class Country and Rural Middle America. By contrast, his support is lowest in Big Cities, Urban Suburbs, Hispanic Centers and College Towns.
bolding mine.

No surprise there. Repubes also want to push their religious agenda on ALL of America. Just take a look at who has been appointed as our Secretary of Education and who currently oversees HUD. And then we have the ultra-religitard, Pence. But non-Christians aren't supposed to say anything about Christianity though. Dodgy

Quote:I think it's clear that Trump's unconventional style, willingness to defy convention and to say things normal politicians don't say helped convince voters in last year's campaign to vote for him. Many may have thought he would change his ways once he entered the Oval Office. But that hasn't occurred. About two-thirds of those who disapprove of Trump talk about his character, personal qualities and overall qualifications as their reasons for holding those attitudes.
bolding mine

Well - when you consistently post rantings like a toddler on Twitter, what can you expect?

Quote:Trump clearly was cognizant of Americans' great distrust of government in his presidential campaign, and his promises to change the situation ("drain the swamp") helped him get elected. But we see no signs so far that Americans' attitudes toward government have changed for the better after his election. Over the past two months, dysfunctional government has been among the most frequently mentioned issues when we ask Americans to name the most important problem facing the nation. Further, although Republicans control both houses,  remains low among Republicans (28% in July) and, as a consequence, low among the population as a whole.
bolding mine.

Shitgibbon is doing nothing to encourage the people that improvements are being made. And certainly the Republican party is making this problem worse. That approval rating is just... well.... pathetic. Even you Trumpsters have to admit this is shameful behavior for your party.

And FSM forbid if one of your own should vote against party lines. You repubes are all over them like white on rice. Look at what your own party did to McCain when he rightfully voted against party lines last week. Some of the things your own people, people who are supposed to be adult and carry an air of professionalism about themselves, said about McCain - even with his dx of brain cancer. Regardless of where he stands on the healthcare issue, belittling him or wishing he would die already is no way for other members of your political party to act. Sad.

We all live in our bubbles.

The liberal bubble is big right now, and the GOP/Trumpster bubble is a bunker.

Democrats are fucking doing terrible at messaging right now. The response to the AHCA was a limp dicked posturing measure. They are fear-mongering rather than doing something. There is a reason their approval rating is in the shitter among moderates. I mean both parties have low approval ratings among moderates, (which is the extremely dishonest portion of A Theist's post)

Trump supporters see the chaos of the WH as a good thing. Most cannot possibly imagine that hiring and firing people with abandon could be a negative thing, as long as their guy is doing it. And let's face it, if Obama was firing people left and right, liberals would spin it as a tough leader or someshit, and A Theist would be in here talking about it being a clear sign that Obama has no control over his staff and calling it a shit show or something along those lines. Bubbles.

With all of the really destructive shit that Trump does/is doing with regards to personal freedoms and trying to limit local governments from making their own decisions, cutting vital programs with deference to our bloated military, destabilizing our diplomatic relationships with key foreign allies, and strengthening our dependence on fossil fuels instead of becoming a world leader in renewables (As Elon Musk is showing us is smort), I think freaking out over staff shakeups is just what Trump needs. LOOK OVER HERE!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
