Picking up votes? The only faction that can legitimately claim "picking up votes" is the independent vote - and your boy lost the popular vote...so what's all this nonsense about? If you wanted brag about success at winning, at least give them due credit where credit is due, they've successfully applied game theory to districts and electoral processes. This is how they've managed to lose the vote and still win seats..and the presidency. That, even if it;s pretty much the shittiest way to steal a good grifty job, is at least impressive.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

See a doctor. Too bad for you that Mengele is dead.

Quote:Anthony Scaramucci is on the hook for millions more in taxes after getting fired by Trump
Quote:CNN Money reports that Scaramucci will now have to pay capital gains tax for the sale of his stake in SkyBridge Capital, the company he founded in 2005. Scaramucci sold his stake in the company as a prerequisite for taking a job at the White House, and he would have been able to claim a deferment on capital gains taxes for sale had he remained a member of the Trump administration.
Since he was fired, however, he’ll have to pay off those taxes as soon as the SkyBridge sale is completed. Scaramucci’s stake in SkyBridge Capital is valued at over $50 million, which means that he will have to pay millions of dollars for it.

I smell a lawsuit.
And it's going to be one of those stinky "welfare for lawyers" kind of lawsuit.

The liberal bubble is big right now, and the GOP/Trumpster bubble is a bunker.
Democrats are fucking doing terrible at messaging right now. The response to the AHCA was a limp dicked posturing measure. They are fear-mongering rather than doing something. There is a reason their approval rating is in the shitter among moderates. I mean both parties have low approval ratings among moderates, (which is the extremely dishonest portion of A Theist's post)
Trump supporters see the chaos of the WH as a good thing. Most cannot possibly imagine that hiring and firing people with abandon could be a negative thing, as long as their guy is doing it. And let's face it, if Obama was firing people left and right, liberals would spin it as a tough leader or someshit, and A Theist would be in here talking about it being a clear sign that Obama has no control over his staff and calling it a shit show or something along those lines. Bubbles.
With all of the really destructive shit that Trump does/is doing with regards to personal freedoms and trying to limit local governments from making their own decisions, cutting vital programs with deference to our bloated military, destabilizing our diplomatic relationships with key foreign allies, and strengthening our dependence on fossil fuels instead of becoming a world leader in renewables (As Elon Musk is showing us is smort), I think freaking out over staff shakeups is just what Trump needs. LOOK OVER HERE!
I wasn't being dishonest about anything and I wasn't talking about how both parties are polling with moderates. I was talking about how dems are polling poorly with the white blue collar workers in the key battle ground states. Those were the same voters who were once the dems' largest voting base. In those precincts Trump still polls at better than 50% while the dems unapproval ratings in those areas are at 61% among those same voters, according to a democrat poll linked to Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Dems don't have a message other than to resist Trump and they don't have a plan to win those voters back.
Quote:Even after six months of shambolic Republican governance, Democrats are still viewed as an unacceptable alternative to many persuadable voters in middle America. Those were the sobering findings of a Democratic survey commissioned by the party-backed House Majority PAC, which Politico and McClatchy first reported. The poll surveyed working-class white voters in pivotal districts that Democrats are targeting in the midterms. Despite the Trump turmoil in Washington, Republicans held a 10-point lead on the generic ballot (43-33 percent) among these blue-collar voters. Democrats hold a whopping 61 percent disapproval rating among these voters, with only 32 percent approving. Even Trump’s job-approval rating is a respectable 52 percent with the demographic in these swing districts.

And I responded and you didn't say shit because you know as well as anyonehere that the orange shitgibbon needs to be removed from office ASAP.

More citizens have voted for the Democratic POTUS candidate in every election save one since 1992.

-Teresa Gotta have the electoral vote for the win. Popular vote doesn't get it. Two states, California and New York, give the demotard party the majority of their electoral votes. Without one of the two the Dems wouldn't even have had the popular vote. Especially since losing their one time largest and loyal base in the key battle ground states, the white blue collar working class voters in the rust belt and coal precincts. If the Dems want to win future elections they're going to have to scale back on the anti Trump shit and the social justice and environmental bullshit and start coming up with a message that's going to resonate with the white blue collar working class voters. Otherwise, plan on losing more elections.

That's because you lot have decided to return to ante-bellum voting rules, where the only people allowed vote were WASP. The Republitraitor party, btraying democracy one US citizen at a time.

If we got rid of the electoral college, votes would count like they are supposed to. Instead we have repubes engaging in gerrymandering simply because they don't know how to win anything fairly.

Yes, the EC has to go, because it allows the voice of the people to be silenced.
