Pabst Blue Ribbon (quite possibly the worst beer known to mankind)

I figure he's either really that stupid, or really that drunk, and I have a hard time believing anyone's that stupid so I figure he must be drunk.

Nah, there's a whole bunch of worse - or equally bad - beers.

Lucky Lager (is this even a thing anymore?)
Coors / Coors Light
Iron City
Bud / Bud Lite
Milwaukee's Best

I could go one, but why? I'm having a *good* beer.

I can just picture you guys having temper tantrums on the floor after reading this -- that is if you even dare to open it. Next you'll probably attack the author, or tell us the book was never written and was completely fabricated by someone. Keep dreaming guys.

And whoever asks for "more testimonials" - give me a break, like that is going to matter. If I gave you 10, you would ask for 20. If I gave you 100, you would say that's not good enough and that you need 200. I'm not wasting my time jumping through hoops for you. The book has plenty to get the point across. One way or the other I'm sure you will find a way to disregard the entire book so you can remain ticked off at the world.

Ya gotta love the sudden lack of answers after I posted this book. Plenty of vulgarities and insults, but otherwise that deer in the headlights look from everyone. And as I predicted, attacks on the author and his research. That says it all. Newspaper reports: DENIED. Testimonials: DENIED. Research by the Catholic Church: DENIED. Further research by the author: DENIED. Now you can all live with a peaceful conscience right?

Debating with you guys is like shooting fish in a barrel. Actually debates never even get off the ground because all you do is cuss people out when faced with the obvious. And overwhelming the discussion with 50 messages per hour has not helped your position at all - it's a well known tactic that gives you all a false feeling of being in the right. You've lost the battle big time.

It's been fun guys and gals!

There's nothing to debate, when you claim all of your worthless sources are undeniable.  You're a very gullible person, and mixed with your self-righteousness, makes quite an ugly disply.

That would be the one good thing to come out of such an absurd belief.

I'm hoping for ruptured.

I want to return to the so-called "Miracle of the Sun" and post a low-down on what really happened.  In short, Sister Lucia, one of the so-called "visionaries", was a fraud.  Here's why -- the Miracle of the Sun did not occur at solar noon as "predicted" by Lucia.  Here's why:

1)  The so-called "miracle" happened at 13:30 civil time or 12:30 standard time; Portugal was, in 1917, observing Daylight Saving Time (no 's' on the end for those of you who need the grammar police!):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_s...by_country

2)  The Cova da Iria in Fátima is located at 39°37′55.67″N 8°40′18.43″W:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_of_F%C3%A1tima

3)  Use the following website:

https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/grad/solcalc/

4)  But, first, you need to convert #2 to decimal values (but, be sure to put a '-' sign for the longitude):

http://www.latlong.net/degrees-minutes-s...al-degrees

When you do, you'll get the following values:  39.63213056 Lat, -8.67166667 Long, which you can verify on the interactive map.

Now, plug the above values into #3, use 12:30 for your standard time (don't check the DST box), click 'Show Azimuth' and you'll get the following:

Sorry that I could not do an image insert; it wasn't working for some reason.

Railway or hotel porter?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Quote:Ya gotta love the sudden lack of answers after I posted this book.

Then you have not been reading the thread . Because there have been answers . The book really didn't change anything

Quote:Plenty of vulgarities and insults,

That seems to be you go to term for any kind of criticism . And it's still as much a non objection as ever.

Quote:but otherwise that deer in the headlights look from everyone

Again clearly you have not been reading the thread
.
Quote:And as I predicted, attacks on the author and his research
.
So i'm only permitted to agree with the author and his research ? And you predicted a poorly done book might be attacked ? That's really not all that impressive nor really has much to do with anything.

Quote:That says it all. Newspaper reports: DENIED
.
Poor publication with poor journalism rejected

Quote:Testimonials: DENIED

Unverifiable hearsay refuted

Quote:.Research by the Catholic Church: DENIED.

Invesigation done by a clearly biased party rejected

Quote:Further research by the author: DENIED.

Apologetics done by a clearly motivated author Rejected

Quote:Now you can all live with a peaceful conscience right?

No more of less so then at any other time . Because my mind was always at peace

Now let's go over  what you denied
Science MAGICED AWAY
Millions of people who saw nothing DENIED
People who were there who denied seeing anything DISMISSED
Lack of photographs NEVER ANSWERED
No fewer then six UNBIASED books on the subject with sources IGNORED
Psychology DISMISSED

Quote:Debating with you guys is like shooting fish in a barrel.

This was a debate ? all i saw was a religious person throwing out poor evidence and shaking his fist when other people didn't bow to it .

Quote:Actually debates never even get off the ground because all you do is cuss people out when faced with the obvious.

Well your right about the lack of debate but you have the cause wrong

Quote:And overwhelming the discussion with 50 messages per hour has not helped your position at all -

No that would be how a thread on a forum works

Quote:it's a well known tactic that gives you all a false feeling of being in the right. You've lost the battle big time.

Evidently it's not well known. As  i was unaware normal traffic flow on a forum counted as a tactic . And am aware of the apologist tactic of empty boasting and posturing . A tactic you seem to excel. Oh and projection lots and lots of projection. And lots of mind reading .

Not really no .

The New York Times had a story on Fatima back in 1917 and they referred to it as an "atmospheric phenomenon", which, on the face of it, is absolutely true.  The "miracle" was supposed to happen at noon and people were getting antsy, and Lucia, no doubt, began to sense this.  It had been cloudy and raining all morning, and so, when the Sun began to break through the clouds, Lucia's had to come-up with something fast, and she delivered.
