RE: Regarding the post edit time limit of absolute Doom
I really like how taking steps towards a better technology (i.e. Filling in the "Request For Enhancement" forms on the MyBB project for more granular permissions and time limits) has been thoroughly ignored for "Well I want it my way", which invites "Uh, no." as a response.

Of all the hills to die on, Pool, this is one of the sillier ones. We're not persuaded in changing policy (especially due to technical constraints), but that's not the end-all of any product discussion. But it would require the MyBB developers or an enterprising plugin developer to develop a new feature (or set thereof). I don't have the time, money or interest to make such an addition, but thankfully I am not the only software developer in the world.

I doubt he really cares. This thread had the hallmarks of a wind-up from the start.

As always, thank you guys for making it so Tibs isn't the only person who has to do this stuff. Know there are only two or three vocal members who think like this about you. There's rabble-rousers on every site. Mostly, you're quietly appreciated.

Pool is used to measure people down from himself. This is a new version. You should change your username to "pool the passive-aggressive".

Wait; Tibs does stuff?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's not a fair representation. I understood this software not allowing a new feature that's not what I'm saying, SC already said problems like this are a rare occurrence so I asked for a small help, I mean I asked to change a '1/0' to '0/1' that's not exactly hard work, especially considering problems like this are rare. You had time to poke fun at me throughout this whole thread but you couldn't do such a little thing? You already called me entitled for even asking this help.

Look back in the thread and you guys were telling me how I can ask favors but shouldn't exactly expect them done. So how doesn't that sound biased? I can make a request and if you like me or if we're friends you'll do it for me otherwise I'll just have to deal with it? Not to mention you yourself and SC congratulating Shell B for that flaming post. I could never get away with just going into a suggestions thread and insult someone so bad and you staff people would make sure of that, I'd at least face some backlash but since Shell B is your friend you guys told her how much you love her for making that insulting post. How doesn't that speak bias from you? I can't even report someone if they make a post like that against me. Remember when 'Hammy' was trolling me on every single thread I made and I reported him *once* and the response was I was a 'report function abuser' and got a warning for it. How isn't that biased?

I didn't insult anyone but I did get called a bitch, twat and I was told to 'shut the fuck up'. I didn't measure anyone down, I was just asking for a help and it would've taken tops 30 seconds but your admin team chose to instead poke fun at me and called my suggestion "bitching". What did I do wrong here? I did everything right but no matter what I do you'll find something wrong. You said nothing to Shell B for that post she made, if I'm disrespectful I'm an asshole, if I refuse to just throw insults at everybody now I'm passive aggressive? I'm not even making any huge demands. Just a small edit that'll probably take less than 10 seconds.

OMFG, how many times do we have to tell you that insulting people isn't against the rules? How many times do we have to repeat that posts aren't edited for friends of staff? This just doesn't fucking happen, pool.

Why did this need to take up seven pages?
