It's legal to beat your kids in Florida as punishment as long as you don't leave any lasting marks. It's also legal to restrain them if they are a danger to themselves or others. Look it up, it's actually spelled out in the state statutes.

It's just a light type of beating as parents do to their children. But again, it's encouraged by Islam not to hit our wives or children and instead be patient towards them as much as possible.

How did I imply that wickedness is okay? But to answer your question, no, wickedness is not okay. It's a bad thing.

Oh,so a wife is inferior to her husband,as a child needing to be taught proper behaviour,not an equal? That seems to contradict a basic premise of Islam; the equality of the sexes. There is a technical term here in Australia for men who beat their wives; 'criminals' as such behaviour is felony assault.

My mother had a friend whose husband liked to discipline her too. At mother's suggestion, her friend began taking a hammer to bed and putting it under her pillow, saying nothing. The disciplining ceased.


Hitting any creature,animal or human,weaker than oneself is unmanly and cowardly.

MY parents were married for 60 years. My mother is difficult to live with. My father NEVER hit my mother,ever.Two possible reasons are that dad despised wife beaters and because mum would simply have left.
