I can't believe how any sensual person can believe in Islam. Man... but yeah, the 'stoning devil' is actually something that Muslims do in Hajj every year. It's supposed to symbolize the time when 'Allah' ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son, and the Devil was trying to dissuade them and they stoned him.

And hey- speaking of sacrificing, will no one bring the topic of 'Kurbani' or' Udhiyyah'?

Sorry, I'm a great admirer of yours, less so of the sentiment that people who disagree with me should exit the country rather than work within the framework provided by our laws and Constitution to secure the changes they desire...if they can. The principle of not driving people out because they don't sufficiently conform to popular opinion is one of the main reasons I don't want to move to another country, despite all the flaws I think ours has. You're free to tell people they should leave the country if they don't like something about it, but I think you can do better than echo the sentiments of the typical redneck towards atheists.

I think you missed the point.

The point is about recent immigrants demanding change to laws/customs they don't like.

The rational response is to tell them to shut the fuck up or get the fuck out.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
