Is Anne Frank in Hell?

I assume when she was at Bergen Belsen she did not in fact accept Christ as her lord and savior.

What would be the standard Evangelical response to that question?

Catholicism is at least slightly more democratic in it's view of who goes to Heaven.

According to Catholic dogma, Anne Frank could be in heaven merely if she was in a state of grace and not mortal sin.

Anyone can know God and serve him even if they haven't been properly evangelized.

That means Buddhists, Jews, and Muslims can all be in Heaven, but they are all Catholics once they are there.

So if I were to ask mainline pastor about the soul of Anne Frank...what would they say.

According to the bible and NOT Christianity Jesus is the only one who gets to decide who is and who is not in Heaven. and He illustrated who is and who is not in a series of parables. the most notable the parable of the talents. Each was given according to tier abilities and each person was judged based on what they were given and what they did with what they had.

So too will we all be judged before Christ. Each according to what we have been given to understand and what we did with what we were allotted. To someone who have been given much understanding, much more is expected. for the one who was given little, little is expected.

Christianity it a set bar meet xyz requirements or you goto hell.

Only Christ is in a position to judge all the secret things in our minds and our true intentions and thoughts.

So to answer Your question is Ann Frank in Heaven? If she is it is because Christ invited her in. Not because of a standard, rule or loop hole. but because Christ judged her and found her faithful to what she had.

So one doesn't even need to follow Christ to get into Heaven. If Christ puts you on the VIP list you get in anyway. Good to know.

I'd say that Anne Frank qualified as VIP. Her diary is famous.

Kind of defeats the point of christianity if you don't have to be one to get into heave. Or the other two Abrahamic religions.

First there'd have to be a hell for her to be in. Of course I've had days in hell so maybe she had some figurative ones too. But literally that is just a silly question.

Guess he'll have to take his answers off-air, the phony guy.

Ann Frank died well before Vatican 2, meaning that it was the official policy of the Catholic Church at that time that only Catholics could go to heaven. Papal infallibility started in the 1870s and has never been rescinded. Therefore Ann Frank is in hell if you believe in Catholicism.

My bold, that is not true. Papal infallibility has been used twice since 1870. First in defining the immaculate conception, and then in the assumption of Mary.

It is true that prior to Vatican 2 the consensus was that only Catholics went to Heaven. Since then, it has been revised that while everyone in Heaven is Christian/Catholic, it doesn't necessarily mean they were during this life.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
