-Criticized Puerto Rico before sending aid when they most need it
-Spent more time on Colin Kaepernick than... literally anything else
-Practically declared war on North Korea via twitter
-Spent more time inflating her own balls than on... literally anything else.

Merits of the candidates?  Anyone who could not see through the WLB's bullshit is a complete and total asshole.  Hillary had a body of work as a senator and secretary of state.  The WLB had a body of work, too.  As a con-man, liar, thief, pervert and scumbag.  Putin knew exactly what he was doing.  And these right-wing assholes fell for it.
