Wait, you were criticizing the players for lacking concrete proposals, not goals. They certainly have a goal, just as they Tea Partiers did. They certainly lack concrete proposals, just as the TPers did.

America was born in protest. Why do you find it so offensive?

I always know I'm on the right track when nits like this start getting picked.  Smile But OK, let's restate it as the protesters were proposing that parliament repeal the Tea Act.

Actually in a JD Powers survey earlier this year, 26% of fans who watched less NFL than previously cited anthem protests as a reason, and 24% cited players' off-field behavior.

Not watching it is great, but Tiz said "not burning shit", and that is a great point. No one much notices when a few thousand simply turn off their TV's, but when they go out and film themselves burning jerseys (so, those people were clearly still watching it btw, if they owned their idols freaking jersey), is a much bigger reaction.

So, for rape or spousal abuse, some turn off their TV's (or claim to).  For peaceful protest, even more actually get off their fat asses and protest back, publically.

Nice to see people got their priorities straight.

"Off-field behavior" meaning political speech or getting caught with drugs, guns, or whores? 'Cause we're talking about political speech in this thread.

What's wrong with whores?  The WLB has married 3 of them.

Nice to see people got their priorities straight.

So, for alleged murder of blacks by police, millionaire players - gasp - get down on one knee for a minute a week.

Nice to see people got their priorities straight.

And since that's not working out well, people are trying to change the topic.
