That's a phenomenally good idea.  Much of my misspent childhood was taken up with watching Bugs Bunny cartoons.  If your suggestions had been in place then, I might not have spent so many of the intervening years dropping anvils on coyotes.

Well, maybe if you kill everyone who's a possible threat, but that's extremely unlikely. 




Bertrand Russell said that war doesn't prove who's right, only who's left. That said, proving who's left certainly has its own merits.

Good flick. Maybe Hollywood should stop making so many movies that glorify violence before its actors and directors, like Quentin Tarantino for one, take a vocal position against guns. Same with the gaming industry. Stricter legislation against violent content from Hollywood and the gaming industry.

I dont see how that would do anything. People who already have psychopathic personalities and a tendency towards violence, are going to be encouraged by anything to eventually act out. If it isn't movies or video games, it'll be something else. You can't compare movies to weapons, because the weapon is what they use to kill people, not the movies.

The problem isn't feelings of rage or even murder. It's the ability to access dozens and dozens of easily-modified rifles that can rain down death on an entire crowd of people.

I understand if you want to let people own a musket. Hell, even a 6-shooter while 6 deaths are tragic isn't going to do much in a crowded room. But the idea that you need a fucking machine gun to guard your house or to take down Bambi is pretty fucking dense.

The second amendment is fine enough, though I'm not really in favor of it. But the execution of that amendment at the hands of officials manipulated by gun nuts is clearly stupid.
