If I had to guess I'd say some fundamentalist Protestant or evangelical.  Most Catholics don't have much of a problem with Halloween.  I live in a small Catholic town and we took the kids all over town for candy last night.

There is some really good news in here, though.

A 2015 Pew forum poll found that the Church has lost as many as three million members between 2007 and 2014. The rest are getting older: the medium age of adults who identify as Catholic was 49.

I suspect that 49 is their median IQ.

That doesn't surprise me a bit considering there is so much promotion of that particular Catholic quackery, like in the popular TV show "The Exorcist" and generally there are few movies about exorcism every year - you know "Based on real events". It really should be outlawed to cheat people like that.

That's no joke.  In my very unscientific survey done from the few times I've attended a Catholic mass lately, it's easy to notice how there are very few people from around age 18-35 attending these days.  Most seem to be much older, and often a Catholic service is dominated by a sea of grey hair.

If you do see young people, they're usually there with their parents.  Very rarely do I see 20-somethings and not many 30-somethings.

This can only be done by religion: not only is a Catholic church's in San Diego's newsletter (that they also feature inside the church) saying to people that Hilary Clinton is a Satan and Catholics should not vote for Democrats, but they're also trying to deny that they're doing it, while they're doing it.
