it was .90 a gallon when I started driving in 89 so side point still established.

Also my first job was min wage and it was 2.25 per hour in 90 so no again. you are confusing federal minimum wage with the minimum wage. meaning what agricultural businesses are allowed to pay (also over time exempt no max hours)

Side note.. how desperate are you to proove me wrong at something, but don't touch anything I said about obama, but go to facts that proove nothing of any point I was makeing?

Where did you get the impression that I entered this conversation to carry Obama's water for him?

Highly doubtful, considering that Republican presidents only support the one percent economy-wise.

What would Puerto Rico do with the big bag of cash? the same thing the did with the other 70 BILLION we let them borrow that they stopped paying on under obama.

In essence we have already invested in Puerto Rico to the tune of 70 billion and recently got the finger when they defaulted on a 1 million dollar scheduled payment to the us and filed banruptcy. So if this cartoon was not fake news it would have depicted a 70 billion dollar bag being given to the P/Rs and then a big middle finger then the storm then poverty/begging trump like the US has never done anything for this country...
https://moneymorning.com/tag/puerto-rican-default/

Riddle me this sport how much AID did obama give to the hatians after their big storm AND EARTH QUAKE??? (1.5 billion) Did Obama open up the boarders and provide government assisted egress into this country? (no) which is where alot of the money trump allocated to P/R relif is going (in relocated P/Rs in the state of Florida and NYC) where i that cartoon? Obama standing at the boarder point hatians back and trump flying in P/R in the country

Do you understand the number 70 billion?

Do you understnd the number 13 billion

Did any of you a hole bock at the 13 million that your holy grail 1/2 black president sent to hati?

Yet trump get hammered for committing 36 billion on top of the already 70+ billion they already owe to us.
http://www.wgrz.com/news/nation-world/ho.../482861665

Look how badly the 70+ billion was mismanaged/ look at how poorly they were prepared for this storm. where did the money go?

why aren't you guys asking any of those questions? it's because you guys are hypocrits and morally depleted monsters. who can not fairly assess one man over another without the use of someone elses ideas/memes. you are told what to think and never question it.

Hey moron, cheaper goods does not mean wages are keeping up with cost of living.

Most technology when new is more expensive, time has always lead to cheaper versions. That has nothing to do with workers wages not meeting cost of living.

A microwave costing under 100 bucks now does not offset the rise in rent and mortgages.

You are an idiot if you think workers wages are keeping up with the cost of living.

Wages have stagnated in the last 50 years as costs have gone up . And the cheapness of certain things means nothing to costs overall .

The story of how they got into that debt is a bit more complicated and rage inducing than all that, but I doubt yuou;d be interested.

Also, that 36 billion is not all earmarked for PR, as per the article.

how is a strong economy 'sorta good" are you a friggen moron? ecconomics/money drives and alleviates 90% of our collective problems.

...

Why am I not surprised you missed the point?

You quoted a stat which, as many others have pointed out, is not definitively indicative of a strong economy on its own. Hence, my use of the qualifier "sorta". You proceeded to incorrectly assume that my comment was entirely restricted to the economy of the USA.

Besides, hard-right economic policies are gradually being recognized as pure bullshit. Call it what you will... Reaganomics, Trickle-down economics, VooDoo economics, the Laffer Curve, fiscal conservatism... it's not good economic policy. It's a pure cash grab that benefits the already wealthy at the expense of the most vulnerable. Penny wise and pound foolish is its most charitable description.

Trump's foibles are well documented. Surely you must realize that he is turning the US into an international laughingstock instead of a respected leader of the free world. I suspect the only reason more international leaders aren't openly mocking him is that they are genuinely afraid Trump is mentally ill enough to end humanity by starting WW3 because NK's leader is equally batshit crazy. It's an utterly sad fucking commentary on the USA that someone like Trump could ever become president of the dominant economic and military power on the planet. Continued support of Trump, after all he's done in his months as president, most definitely is not an indictment of his detractors -- it's an indictment of his supporters.

He has done nothing for the economy expect for taking credit for other peoples actions. The tax plan he's trying to push through will only do more harm then good, his health care bill will only cost the tax payers more money, and yet some of these idiots believe he is doing well. If the American people believe that a failed business man who is a known hustler is for them; then we're a failed country. The mid-terms will tell us where country is going, if the Dems takes the sentient back then support for impeachment will be there. At this point Pence would be a better choice over this ass-hole! I already know my state is fucked for the mid-terms, it's going to up to the rest of country to put dems back in charge. It's our last hope, if they keep the senate, we will be stuck with this prick till 2024.

By then all of Trumps friends will have gained a lot of power and rule this nation turning the U.S into an Aristocracy.
