Cats are too independent for that nonsense. Lousy herd/flock animals.

It used to be that people had better be ready to believe what he (or any pope) said. The current situation is considerably better. This pope is going to be murdered, too, by the entrenched people. Someday, the RCC will get its comeuppance. It would be nice if there really was a hell, for these people who commit those atrocities in the name of their selected deity.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Then why doesn't he tell me that everything is going to be alright and I'm going to get to go to lots of concerts and I will never have to let anyone into my home and I will get to fuck lots of hot women in their homes?

Because that's what I want to hear.

Another popular one, "A progressive pope". Yeah right.

Quote:Exorcists now have an extra weapon in their fight against evil – the official backing of the Catholic church. The Vatican has formally recognised the International Association of Exorcists, a group of 250 priests in 30 countries who liberate the faithful from demons.

Head of International Association of Exorcists says Vatican approval is cause for joy for those who suffer demons

It doesn't bode well for the future of our civilisation that people in the 21st century believe this shite.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

I think all religious leaders are desperately trying to stay relevant in this modern world.
They are losing bigtime. People are sick of scams. Religion invented it.

Yeah, they make great atheists. Maybe that's why I like them so much.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

The pope should read the biblical fairy tale. No one goes to heaven.

Yes!!! Finally!! But what about cats? I just wonder if Jim Jarmusch is going to go back to religion, because I once heard him say that left religion when his dog died and his priest told him that dogs don't go to Heaven.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
