Pretty sure Angela Merkel is leader of the free world. Putin's world isn't free at all.
Merkel can't be the leader of the free world until she threatens to nuke N. Korea or trash hard-earned international agreements.
At the least, she could shit on veterans and their families. That would be a start.

Conservatives really need to start learning what words like 'fasicsm' means. My students know what it is, and they're only in high school. Hell, my youngest daughters know what it means, and they're in elementary school.
The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Fascist boycott?
I read the thread title and immediately assumed that Trump had decreed that his base should boycott a certain disagreeable product or service.
Silly me.

American english is a very fluid language. Sometimes, and particularly after a november, terms don;t mean what they used to. Terms like "moral character", "traditional values", "fiscal responsibility", and "fascism".
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

While I don't think it's right, you gotta know that being in a picture with Trump as he dismantles the healthcare system further is going to come back to bite you.
This isn't a left or right thing. This is a people thing. This is a social media thing. The left is currently bereft of power, and is wielding social media power in the way that humans do now, like a drunk toddler.
If he didn't know, that's on him. But if a business owner in LA showed up behind Trump signing an executive order that harms Latinos, you can bet that the people would boycott. If you own a business and your clientele is predominantly liberal, don't show out with the most hated President in American History. Axiom of business.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Provocative thread title only meant to convey people's totalitarian impulses and serve as click-bait. Otherwise, I basically use the term fascism in the same sense as the father of fascism, Mussolini:
Quote: "The keystone of the Fascist doctrine is its conception of the State, of its essence, its functions, and its aims. For Fascism the State is absolute, individuals and groups relative."
and...
Quote:All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.
Basically, people who think the solution to every social evil is for government to control, regulate or take over, that pushes a society away from personal liberty and in the direction of fascism.

You use the word the way you do because you've swallowed the koolaid, Neo. Temet Nosce.

The basic belief in punishing people who question the role of the state to regulate and control all aspects of health care, or anything else for that matter. Trying to ruin people's lives over political differences doesn't encourage productive civil participation.

You must be thinking of some other story then, perhaps you should link to that. I see people refusing to give their money to a business owner.
He's not entitled to their money, case closed.
