The people of Lot weren't destroyed just for Homosexuality. I learned that through being answered by some people here, and reading this verse:

Incidentally, does anyone know if he ever gave a response to my earlier question about whether he would help prevent a gay person from being murdered? I got no notification, and I seem to have too many human scruples to stomach reading this shit.

I don't recall that he answered it directly, but his obvious hatred and disgust towards people who are gay, would seem to indicate that if he saw a gay person being murdered, he would continue about his business as if he saw nothing.

Yeah, I get the impression that, like with everything else he writes, he hides behind obfuscation and posturing. I was hoping, however forlornly, that he might find a particle of integrity and actually stand by the position he espouses, or decry it.
I only hope that he gets real help and that we aren't witnessing a genuine radicalisation. I don't want to see his picture on the news.

Personally; I don't believe the Hadith; and the Quran never ordered believers to kill homosexuals. Instead, it ordered to ease marriage, and make it available for everybody. The people of Lot did other bad things. Homosexuality is the aftermath of psychological problems; it's not to judge somebody as evil, or immoral.
