It's an indicator of fitness. That's the whole point of jeans that stuff your ass into shape. It mimics a muscular ass even if the underlying booty looks like it was hit with a bag of nickels.

As long as a guy has a nice ass and doesn't turn into one then I don't care much. These days they are proving to me that they aren't capable of ever growing up, so until we can get past that little issue, asses based on looked aren't a priority.
