Hello, Philosophy is a huge interest of mine. However, i'm not sure what books to start off with on the philosophy of science, or analytic philosophy in general. Wittgenstein and Popper seem like good places to start. I've looked at the Tractatus , and I want to look into the Blue & Brown books and the book On Certainty.
I also know a bit about Popper, but not a great extent. I do know that the one time Popper and Wittgenstein were in a room together, Wittgenstein threatened him with a fire poker. So that being said, what were the biggest differences between the two men's philosophy?
Also, should I start off with a source text, or find a book ABOUT the philosophy of science? Is the one from the Very Short Introduction series any good?
Also it seems sometimes like the philosophers I read about, like Kuhn, want to subvert science to some sort of relativism. Are Popper or Wittgeinstein like that?
