No brainer for me.  I'm having some health issues and in a cold and flu season with a <20% effective flu vaccine, my traipsing off to a theater would be an extremely poor idea.

I HAVE to wait for the blu ray.

And don't feel bad, I will use the Cornwalls, my HSU Research sub, and the Sony 75" TV and I'm going to have a wonderful time.  Just delayed.

Appreciate the good reviews, people !!    Play it up and I can enjoy the movie theater experience vicariously, win-win !!!

Have you considered pooling? (Or Deadpooling?)

You buy the Blu-ray/DVD/Download copy, but you get two other people to split the cost with you. Each copy then costs ~$7.00 USD.  Rotate or "dibs" or go with the option you like best, negotiating.

Not sure about others but I'm not planning on seeing it tomorrow because crowds.  *shudders*

Whoa, not just the NYT.  All but one of the critics listed at Rotten Tomatoes likes it.

I stopped going to movies a long time ago. I hate people gulping and slurping and chewing and crunching and smacking their lips. I hate people talking loudly, and now with cell phones, but also other assholes who put their knees or feet on the back of your seat. 

But, with this movie, I am sure times have changed and maybe the critics are right about this, but I grew up on the original three, so today's motifs in this series might be lost on me. It is kinda like having your favorite Bond. I didn't like the last Bond, but was a fan of Roger Moore. 

Fisher and Mark being in it is tempting, but still, to me that was then this is now.
