I don't know if social media has anything to do with it. We didn't have it in the 1960s.

I think every so often, tension and disconnect between progressives and dinosaurs builds to a head and you get periods like the 60s and what we have now.

I think im wired thr opposite way when it comes to online interactions.

I first tried to join muslim forums but got banned from them all, then came here. It was ok when everyone was agreeing with me about religious things but way more interesting and addictive to argue about everything ive argued about outside of religion.

Ive never really experienced an echo chamber of positive feedback for long with my online interactions because i dont really aim for that, but then saying that im only human and i do check my kudos and take an interest into whos giving me kudos and what for. And whos giving who kudos in general.

There definitely is a certain subset of people who are that way. Plus it might not be 100% about your behavior. After all, you tried to join several Muslim forums, yet here you are.
