Also, Mantis Shrimp are pretty cool. They can lock back their front claws, and sort of 'spring' them forward. They can crack crab-shells with their punch. Their punch alone exerts a force of 1,500 Newtons. On top of that, the speed of the punch creates cavitation bubbles. These bubbles implode on themselves, causing additional damage to whatever they punch.

One of my professors kept Mantis Shrimp in a tank. Some dumbass undergrad student thought it would be funny to stick his hand in the tank to see how hard they punch. He ended up with a broken bone in his hand.
