I'm picturing you in chaps and a vest, riding a motorcycle Smile

I regard playing video games as a waste of time but it keeps me busy between dogs.

What video games do you play? Smile

I usually play live for actual $.  I used to play online for real $ before Black Friday.  I haven't played live in awhile, longer for online.  I get bored really fast online and do stupid shit I would never do in a live game.

I played on PokerStars, Full Tilt, Party Poker and a few others.  PokerStars was my favorite.

I'm on Pokerstars. Pokerstars is my favorite too.

Also for some bizarre reason I find the players easier to defeat on Pokerstars despite the fact that the competiton is supposed to be toughest there.

I wonder if it's because the supposedly less tough websites get advertised as less tough so then all the sharks flock there Tongue

I withdrew all the money included my profits because I needed to use it. So I can only play for fake money at the moment. Which sucks ass because I just basically have to wait for 2 aces and stick it all in and get called by any two cards lol.

"being artistic " is a misnomer. All it takes is practice. Drawing and painting are skills you can learn just like you can learn to drive a car or cook or tie your shoes.

Try wood working there are many different things you can do and many require only a small amount of money to get started. Carving has many different areas from the simple to the complex and some of it needs no more than a couple knifes. I do not carve but want to learn to add more detail to my own pieces.

Also, being a fulltime computer nerd, I play games and build stuff like:

and home theater ... I love my home theater! (But it's out of bounds for the next 2 weeks while the Australian Open is on.) Dodgy Bloddy wife! Who made her boss?!

Mary May thought it was cool when she first discovered it, her first carving was primitive but she was hooked and now is one of the best in the country, she even does stone work, she's absolutely amazing.

You'd think she'd love doing Cod's work.  Go figure.

I think it just amounts to enjoying being experimental, and curious to follow hunches.  I mean, if you can have faith that a mega-omni-creator ardently wishes for my improvement, you wouldn't think it too farfetched that a little faith in an inspiration would be asking too much.

Music is of course my biggest hobby. I play guitar about an hour a day normally, and usually find it refreshing and rewarding. Writing songs especially so, because I get to indulge another hobby, writing. Putting a good lyric together with fitting music is a great feeling.

I write as a hobby. Working on a full-length right now, a little slowly.

I love me some hiking. I get out and get some fresh air,and learn a bit about where I live.

I'll get back into cycling once the hip replacement comes through. There's something about pumping the pedals , with no thought other than my groove, that's entrancing.

Crossword puzzles. Loves me some Friday and Sunday NYT puzzles, and they help keep the ole thinker spry.

Get a big bag of coins, or phone cards, go to a public pay phone (do NOT do this with your mobile/credit card).

Call various embassies and/or the white house/Pentagon/State Department, pretending to be a high level representative of a foreign power, and see if you can start a war.

It's a good way of killing a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Does it work?

You never hear about Asphalia in the news, do you?
