Person B: I consent. Where do I sign?

I want it to build up to the moment. Don’t want the sex? Say something. Refuse. Don’t give the dude oral sex and expect him to get the hint. Already did it and want to stop? Say it. Say you’re done. Make it clear. Women have a voice and we can use it. If we’re clear enough and they still push back, then there’s no doubt. It’s assault. If we go down this path, we’ll be needing consent forms. No, thanks.

All I read was that they were having sex and she never told him to stop but she decided afterwards that it wasn't very fun so she decided to accuse him of rape. It takes two to have good sex! It's not like bad sex is 100% the guy's fault. Nor is "I didn't enjoy it" grounds for "So I guess he must have raped me then."

If the dude chased her around demanding sex until she gave in... then that totally is sexual assault.

See, I am not as confident about this as you are. I wasn't there so I can't make that judgment, I do not have enough information. I don't think she consented to any of it, but it's a gray story for sure.

All I have is her testimony to go off of, which very well may have been editorialized by the arguably biased journalist who wrote the story. Based on that, I don't think she was assaulted. However, if something was left out, clearly I'd have to reexamine my position.
