Oh it takes some balance no denial . Especially with one of my lovers needing extra help . But at the end of the day when the three (or how many others have joined us that evening ) are laying around the fire . I can't see love any other way.

Just pure curiosity, is polyamory for you just you and multiple women? Or are there more men in the mix as well?

I’m slowly becoming more and more vanilla, though. I’d be happy with one person to come home to and lay next to as we each do our own thing not needing to say much, but knowing we have each other. Someone to text whenever I want during breaks at work and feeling connected, yet not overwhelmed. Might sound boring, but I don’t need much more anymore. Heh

Haha, monogamy isn't boring. It might be boring for people who are polyamorous, but monogamy is just fine.
For me, polyamory is waaaaaay too complicated. The heightened potential for disease (condoms aren't 100% effective y'all. Herpes don't hide behind latex.) is more than enough to steer me away from it. On top of that, there's finding people with the same kinks as you, and sometimes finding out they're just as fucking jealous as monogamous people, so there goes that. Then, there's making sure a bunch of people are fulfilled at once. Oh, and texting from that many people? My best friend has an alternative lifestyle and it's fucking obnoxious how much she's texting. For real, wanna punch her in the tit. She'd like it, though.

Sounds wonderful!
My wife and I are in a poly situation: she has a LDR and I currently am with nobody but her. The long distance aspect definitely reduces the time factor and juggling aspect for her. Of course, there is the planning aspect of how/when to get together.
Me, I'm open to new relationships, but haven't found anyone who wants to go there that I am interested in being with that way. *shrug* De facto monogamy for me, I guess.
And no, definitely not boring.
