Cloned monkeys: First primate clones are created in lab

I'd suspect this means we actually pretty much have the technology to clone humans if we wanted to, because genetically we're so similar to these animals. Cool as it may sound, I can't think of any great reasons to clone humans that isn't unethical. Any sort of cloned population would be highly vulnerable to diseases; genetic mutation/diversity is perhaps our greatest strength as a species.
Still a very interesting advancement in my opinion!
