That was absurd.

Made sense to me though! Either God is always silent or always talking to us, those are the only two possible reasons for us not being able to "hear" God, it's up to each person to decide what they believe in, I'll respect it even if you choose not to believe but that's your path to walk.

You left out a third and most obvious reason that no one hears a god talking to them.

Still absurd.

Could God not be silent when he's got a mood on him? and then really chatty at other times? How does God communicate with you exactly? If you're hearing his voice seek help immediately, especially if he's telling you to do stuff.
