I hate Trump too, but it doesn't mean I'm going to forego the truth for it. This thread and that media source aren't true.  There are lots of real things to hate Trump over.

*my bold*

I'm doing my best to get to all of them.  If I miss any it's just because I still want to have a life, not because I don't thoroughly despise the guy.

There is a problem though when people automatically believe something because they don't like a guy. It's a faulty chain of logic. You saw it heavily with the right and Obama. I.e. Obama is really a Muslim or Obama was born in Kenya. People were automatically believing all that nonsense because they were willing to believe anything bad about him cause they didn't like his politics already.

Now left wing people are just doing the exact same thing with no fact checking at all. For example this story doesn't say that Trump can't read a ten page memo at all. But people are believing it because they are just willing to believe anything negative said about Trump.

As an atheist, that is not the way I think, not the chain of logic that I follow. I fact check my own beliefs regularly, despite my personal distain for Trump, or the nonsense of people accusing me of being a Trump supporter because I don't automatically believe every ill supported thing said about him.

It goes to motive.  Why do we think he is president?  I believe it is one big ego trip triggered by a bad night at that press  dinner at which O'Bama skewered him pretty good.  I also believe he is a lousy businessman who might very well have traded influence to Russia for cash.  This is all very well documented and though motive always involves speculation there is a good case for thinking the worst about his motivations for being in office.

One difference is we are not slamming him because he is white or rich.  We're slamming him because he conducts himself like a mafioso and exhibits crudeness, cruelty, lack of concern for others at every turn.

As far as his ability to read a 10 page memo goes, I actually think he is more lazy than stupid.  That and he really does belief knowledge is extraneous when you have 'great' judgment.  He is used to making the world contort itself to his pleasure, he can't be bothered to find out how things work.  He'd rather make it an offer it can't refuse.

Everything I've said about the scum is based on my appraisal of his base character and motivation.  That is what my logic is based on.  We're not talking about empirical fact checking.
