A bunch of people in a fucking forum are not going to change anything. If you want change go to your elected officials and DO SOMETHING THERE.

But shitting on every single thread about a shooting isn't going to change fuck. Also - demanding that people get angry doesn't change anything either. Fucking up someone's thread about a school shooting where at least 20 people have been injured, with your anger is moving away from the PD of the thread and I'm asking you nicely to stop.

Be careful, you don't want to start censoring other posters. They have the freedom to respond.

Asking someone to stop being angry in my post isn't censoring anyone nor is it preventing them from having the "freedom" to respond. It's making a request that they respect the thread and not be so angry and to keep on topic. I just don't think it's necessary to respond to every single shooting thread with such anger. It detracts from the reason why I posted, which, again, moves away from the Prime Directive. Besides I was trying to be polite with my asking because I didn't want to be rude about it. 

Of course he has the right to respond. But when those responses start taking away from the purpose of the post, then I'm going to interject with my requests to be respectful and keep anger out of it. That's only fair. And that is my right to respond.

I don't want any fight here either. I am in Australia now, and the people I am with think America is bat shit nuts with our loose gun laws and the amount we have.

I agree with them. I think it is far more important to worry about the perpetrators who are holding our nation hostage. 

This is what it took for Australia to do something. All I want to know is when are we going to do something, because what we are doing now is not working.

The suspect is now in custody and CNN is talking with some of the students that were able to get out safely.

And "Numerous fatalities" are being reported by the superintendent of the school, Robert Runcie.
