Poca, I got very excited at the prospect of a Kinder egg the other day. I saw it in the grocery store and presented it to the British hubby all proud of myself. When we opened it, we realized it was some shit chocolate filling thing you eat with a shitting cookie spoon. The toy is in a separate half of the egg. NO KINDER CHOCOLATE TO BE FOUND. I died a little.

The scoop ones are not proper kinder eggs in my opinion

Yes, you built a whopping bridge and then represented it as my opinion. In fact, you said I implied that law enforcement was geared up Super Troopers style. That's an inaccurate representation of my statement and my pov. If you wanted to be clear, you could have stated that some people think that and then argued that point. Instead, you argued it as if I had said it. No sweat. Just clarifying that I didn't say that nor do I think that, so we don't have to have that conversation.

Well yes, but it doesn't originate with me.

I grew up in a fairly well-to-do town. We have better equipment than most. Our officers drive new Chargers. They have everything from snowmobiles to boats. The police station is state of the art. I've never seen any sort of armored vehicle. However, they do wear what I think are flak vests. I doubt many towns in America could afford the sort of shit you're talking about. Maybe our staties have some armored vehicles for SWAT and such, but it's hardly the norm.

On one hand i don't like idea of a heavily armed civilian populous on the other i don't like the idea of a heavily armed police force . Both are a bad idea in my opinion .

It's better to have balance, but that balance needs heavy restrictions on both sides. It's past time for it.
