He never was one. He was 14 when the war ended, and it appears the sole extent of the "collaboration" involved posing as a collaborating Hungarian official's godson (said official had a Jewish wife in hiding), and one time, spending three days with said "godfather" at a mansion he was inventorying, more or less because he felt he shouldn't leave his "godson" alone for three days. His actions during the visit are best described as "tagging along."
