Discussion of the Deism vs. Theism debate.
This thread is for other users to discuss the debate and its topic:

Deism vs. Theism: Which is the more likely understanding of God?

The link to the debate topic is: http://atheistforums.org/thread-5355.html

This should be good, I look forward to it.
Best regards,

A debate about who makes the least number completely unfounded assumptions Smile Should be magical (thinking).

I look forward to this, thanks to Paladin and A Theist for taking part.

BORING!!

It'd be like a debate between Snap, Krackle & Pop or Keebler Elves; Which bake the better goodies?

Utterly pointless.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

Why, they're all arguments from incredulity?

I'm gonna stick my head above the pulpit and say deism is more likely as it makes fewer claims.

Still I dont think its correct, just more likely to be than theism and less easily refuted.

A-Theists' personal schedule is tied up right now (something I can relate to) so he's not available until Tues or Wed. I'm going to hold off myself from posting my opening until that time.

My apologies to everyone. I've had a few unexpected issues to arise that has prevented me from begining our debate as scheduled. I'm hoping to be ready this weekend. I sent a PM to DP earlier to let him know. My thanks to DP for his understanding. Nevertheless, I still look forward to our debate.

My opening remarks are posted. Take your time, A Theist, I understand well how domestic concerns take priority.
