Worf's son. I doubt you can come up with a suitable defense for him.
What do you hate about him
If it's his clumsiness that bugs you consider
1. He did not grow up among Klingons .And only later in life did he decided to be a warrior to please his father .
2. Why would we assume all Klingons are competent ? DS9 showed us a fat jolly Klingon. TNG showed us that there are dishonourable Klingons. Enterprise showed us not all Klingons are warriors . So why not a clumsy Klingon.
3. Not to mention the poor guy watched his mother bleed to death in front of him . And had a shitty childhood .

Not particularly a ST fan at all, honestly. Growing up I watched a bit of the New Generation with Picard and DSN and even Voyager, but I never really geeked over the ST universe. I was more of an X-Files and BTVS nerd.

Fandom level: Liked it more when I was younger, now just casual.
Best Series: DS9
Favourite captain: not really sure... none of them really appeal... least probably Sisko... so I'll go Picard.
Favourite character(s); Odo, Gul Dukat, Quark
Favourite Race(s); Cardassians, Founders, Jem Hadar... basically the Dominion which one would I be... wouldn't mind being a Founder

I prefer B'Elanna Torres' name for him "Chocolate Day!", from a mispronunciation in a season 1 episode.

He's annoying. At least his iteration as a child in TNG. (He was okay in DS9).

Which is why they should be banned.

Somehow I posted this in the wrong thread... now it's in the right one
This is a picture of me meeting Rene Auberjonois at a Star Trek Convention. He was a lovely guy and he let me have that picture for free... cos I was there helping friends out on a charity stand, rather than going as a fan so to speak. But somehow in a lull I went off for a wander and ended up talking to him... having changed out of my outfit because I felt a bit self-conscious - not to mention that that thing is incredibly uncomfortable - anyway Rene suggested I put it on again for this picture and the rest is history. It's not my costume but my friend's who's got a lot of them and makes fan-films of Star Trek, as well as doing these charity stands with other Trekkie friends So whenever I go, he just lends me his costume, and sometimes more than others I'm more comfortable wearing it

Fandom Level: Casual fan, but I was a rabid fan when I was younger.
Best Series/Movie:
Series: TOS or the second through fourth season of TNG; TNG got a little silly after that. Similar remarks go for DS9; good early on, not so much later.
Movie: First Contact
Favorite Captain: Commodore Matt Decker from the episode "The Doomsday Machine", or Rear Admiral Pressman from the episode "The Pegasus". I liked Picard as a regular, but those two "captains" were more real flesh and blood characters than either Kirk or Picard.
Favorite Character: Split between Reginald Barclay from TNG and Garak from DS9.
Most hated character: Any of the Klingons from TNG, but especially Worf, his son, and the Duras sisters.
What Alien Race Would You Be?: Either Elasian or a member of the Q continuum.

I liked DS9 more towards the end than the beginning... I loved the Dominion war and all the changing alliances etc... so I could (and did) binge watch those episodes in very few sittings. But basically the more self-contained the episodes, the less I like them... so that's ultimately why I prefer DS9 to TNG or Voyager... because of the ongoing story rather than the individual self-contained adventures of normal Star Trek style.
