RE: Jesus : The Early years
Didn't ANYBODY proof read the damn thing ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Why should any one believe this now?

really you have read the Gospels, you gave no sign of that in your previous post. In the days of Jesus and even before women married as teenagers. Most parents were poor and a girl was a burden financially and were used to gain financially from the groom, so you see teenage girls were marrying men usually in their twenties. These girls were much more mature than the silly girls of today, they worked from the time they were small till the time they left home. Why would Mary lie about this and how could she have known Jesus would have been such a force in that day if she was concocting a lie.

GC

First , I do not believe Jesus or Mary were anything but myths. Second, hmm, an unmarried pregnant teenage girl in iron age Palestine best come up with a story fast. Lest the godly people crush her young body with a hail of stones.

Because i've read the bible and on the cross Jesus asked John to care for his mother. IDK if there was an official Barbra Walters type interview but the idea that John cared for marry for the rest of her life leaves alot of time for them to talk about all the crazy stuff little Jesus did.

The Koran is true because the Koran says so.

Buddha said so Buddha is right.

Isn't that amazing how suddenly that doesn't work for you?

Get in line, take a number.

There is truth in the Koran, it is stupid to throw out the whole koran just because it is the koran. That is what is wrong with you guys, you do not know or how to sift or discern fact or even probable fact from fiction. to you it is all or nothing. how closed minded is that?

You'd think a loving God with omnipotence would have found some way to take care of his own mother whom he had knocked up, and not had to dump her care on someone else.

What are you retarded?

He did in Giving Her care over to John.

God is the God of the NATURAL world. What makes you guys think God can only move supernaturally.

False. Religious cranks have claimed it's accuracy, but they are always trivially proven wrong. For example, are bats birds or mammals? Do insects have 4 or 6 legs? And so on. The bible gets so much comprehensively wrong it is funny.

Poor Dripshit.  Facts are not his friends.

Quote:Only in Justin Martyr, writing in the 150s, do we find the first identifiable quotations from some
of the Gospels, though he calls them simply "memoirs of the Apostles," with no names. And
those quotations usually do not agree with the texts of the canonical versions we now have,
showing that such documents were still undergoing evolution and revision. Scholars such as
Helmut Koester have concluded that earlier "allusions" to Gospel-like material are likely floating
traditions which themselves found their way into the written Gospels. (See Koester's Ancient
Christian Gospels and his earlier Synoptische Uberlieferung bei den apostolischen Vatern.) Is it
conceivable that the earliest account of Jesus' life and death could have been committed to
writing as early as 70 (or even earlier, as some would like to have it), and yet the broader
Christian world took almost a century to receive copies of it?

Empty that hat on the pages of this forum. The two agree completely, I can't help you are illiterate and can't understand them. They tell the same story one has more detail than the other. They are the same family line through different people that go back to David and if you were the great biblical scholar you want to believe you are you would have known this. Prove it wasn't recorded by Moses and prove it never happened. Many places in the Middle East were thought to be non-existent that were record in the Bible and low and behold we've found many of them.

Again with this false thing, you sound like a broken record. Cranks that's funny these people have studied for many years and you cruise the net believing you've acquired enough knowledge to call them cranks. You are little more than a loud mouth. You need to show what your speaking of generalization want get it.

Here you go again with your baby speak, can't spell Bible any better than you can say it. I accept what the Bible says as truth so why would I deny it. It's not my fault you can't see the truth it contains. One day you will wished you had though.

Really, I have six different Bibles why would I own them if I didn't read then. My study of the scriptures hunt for God's truth and your search into scripture is to find only your truth, I'll tell you a secret the Bible is not about you, it was written for you. If you can't see this I have little hope for you and why, your logic is non existent. Many atheist here have claimed to read and understand the Bible, until the Christians here have shown them how wrong they are. You are in that same boat and unlike Noah's your's is sinking fast.
