I browse NBA discussion forums and most Cavalier fans don't have a problem admitting that Lebron says a lot of dumb and ridiculous things. He definitely gets clowned far more than any other player in the league by fans. "My own family is spoiled getting to watch me play". He is respected for his talent, but his personality is something else. His teammates respect him so much that they either demand trades (Kyrie) or they sleep with his mother behind his back. All time great coaches like Pat Riley and Phil Jackson have said that Lebron is extremely unprofessional, and that he and his posse try to run the show behind the scenes (of course Lebron responded by playing the race card and basically calling Phil Jackson a racist for calling his friends a posse). Lebron is the Donald Trump of the NBA in terms of saying dumb shit.

If one takes Advanced Placement classes, they are based on an "A" being worth 5 points instead of 4. My middle son graduated HS with a 4.2 GPA, as a result.

Back in the 90s there was a school district by Des Moines where an instructor in a required High School class refused to ever give an "A" to anyone. This guaranteed that High School did not graduate any 4.0 students for however many years it took to get the twit to relent on his policy.

The cases aren't parallel.  You're asking me to tell you something I couldn't possibly know - Hogg's motivations.  My question, on the other hand, was about something you said specifically.  If you'd like to retract that statement, I'll consider myself answered.

The way I see it, the reason why Hogg won't debate Kashuv, is either Hogg doesn't want the other side to be heard or he's afraid that Kashuv is going to hand his ass to him in a debate. 

Hogg has attacked Marco Rubio and Florida Governor, Rick Scott, practically accusing them of being complicit in the murder of the Parkland students because they accept campaign donations from the NRA. So far, I've only seen Hogg doing interviews on news outlets that lean left and are friendly to him. One CNN interviewer, though, did challenge him on why he went after Rubio the way he did and Hogg was pissed that he was challenged. Yet, you won't see Hogg doing interviews on conservative leaning news networks that will challenge him. Like other left wingers, he too, attacks the NRA and practically accuses the organization of also being complicit in the gun deaths of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students when in fact only one person, Nicholas Cruz, was the murderer. Also, as Kashuv pointed out, I don't see much being said from Hogg and other MFOL organizers slamming the failures of the Broward Sheriff's Department and the deputies who were supposed to be protecting the students of that high school and the local FBI there. Also, as Kashuv pointed out, Hogg refused an invitation to the White House along with others who were invited from Parkland to express his views and ideas but rather appeared on left leaning Bill Maher's show and bragged about hanging up on the White House. The MFOL protest was also funded by left wing organizations like Move On and Women's March LA. As I pointed out before, I don't see Hogg doing interviews on networks or radio shows that lean more to the right where he'll actually be challenged. The way I see it, Hogg is a left winger who either doesn't like to be challenged or he's afraid to be challenged, or possibly both...and as one forum member here stupidly put it, (paraphrasing), why should Hogg want to debate conservative student Kyle Kashuv when he knows he's right. Hogg's MFOL protest was funded by left wing organizations and so far as I've seen he only appears on left leaning networks that are friendly to him and won't challenge him. As I've already stated my opinion before, Hogg is leftwing. He attacks Rubio, Rick Scott, the NRA and somehow he's above being challenged?

My granddaughter had a 4.3 GPA and is now attending Dennison University. This year she'll be attending a university in Italy for three months and she also just received a letter from Dennison that she has been invited to attend a university in Finland for two years. So, yeah, you can have better than a 4.0.
