That probably has to do with slightly less than half of adults under 30 believing in the God of the Bible, as they are a large enough group to bring the average down considerably. The older the member of the sample, the more likely they are to believe in the God of the Bible.

Some believers will believe Jesus judges them:
John 5 (KJV)
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son
and others won't believe that Jesus judges them:
John 8 (KJV)
15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
So, we have 2 Jesus's (at least) too. Which one is the 'right' one ?? We need a better poll to delineate the range of Scripture's deities and their relative popularities amongst the pew warmers.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Good thing were not doing that despite what christian propaganda will say . And 56 ,86, 95, It makes no difference .

Gosh, ya got me. I'm just soooooooooo bad. Yup the only reason i don't accept wooters nonsense is so i can (insert evil debauchery i as an atheist must do ) or an act i should feel guilty over because it disagrees with wooters holy book .
So no the concept of both ways is a Christain myth .
Y'all just wanna sin

But you have no proof that a "next" world or some sort of afterlife even exists. All you've done here is assert a claim from your own opinions.

The anecdote to shame is humility, and there's nothing less humble about believing that this great universe, that has a diameter of 91 billion light-years and has existed for almost 14 billion years, was created explicitly for us.

Ahh... but don't you see.... it depends on your particular translation or interpretation of the Word of God. That infallible word of God can be changed to mean whatever the reader wants it to mean.

I wonder how many peoples beliefs (or lack thereof) are actually informed by wish-fulfillment?
Further, I wonder what percentage of people who think that others beliefs (or lack thereof) are actually informed by wish fulfillment think so because their beliefs are so informed?
From the standpoint of christian mythology the proposition that anyone is an atheist because they want to keep sinning is ludicrous. All will sin. Believers will sin, atheists will sin. We don;t need justifications to sin..and the status of our belief does not alter either our capacity or our propensity to do so.
From the standpoint of a lucid human being..it fares no better. I like to smoke weed and don't want to go to jail. This doesn't lead me into thinking that cops and courts are non-existent. I couldn't believe that no matter how high I got. IMO, no matter what angle it's approached from....the proposition is impossible to maintain unless a person is a real dumb asshole.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Its deists, wiccans and even very liberal Christians could fall into that catagory. All kinds of people could.
