From article:

A veterinarian pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to U.S. charges that he implanted liquid heroin in puppies to turn them into drug mules for a Colombian trafficking ring.

While not known for sure, it is expected the puppies did not survive the removal procedure . . . .

No, me!  I want to run him through the chipper.  Let me do it!

I met a guy in '75 who worked on a farm. He went to work early and was pushing corn into a grain grinder. An ear got stuck, and he reached to push it in. When he leaned in, his hand got caught, and he was in an unstable position, unable to pull himself out and also unable to push against anything but the chute, which tapered in. He was there, getting his fingers slowly chewed off, until someone else showed up to work and pulled him out. By his own account, that was about an hour and a half, slowly losing finger parts. Sad I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Which is why I prefer more merciful methods of execution.

. . . chopping up puppies to retrieve heroin ?

That vet is lucky it's not up to me. The idea being his outcome is so horrific this outrage never occurs again.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Do the drug addicts care what kind of package their drug came in?

At least it wasn't kittens.

While i think it’s horrible, I certainly don’t think it’s something deserving of the death penalty.

Loss of his medical license and permanent barring of him being allowed to own or possess any animal for the rest of his life should do it.

Why is the suffering of one species less important than another if the capacity to suffer is the same? What next? At least it wasn't a white straight man that had drugs cut out of them?
