Such folks will make a really big deal about how gawwwd gave us the gift of free will while on the other hand rejecting that same gift as something of satan, another fantasy being.

gawwd commands you to have free will, and promptly commands you not to use it. Yet more evidence that gawwd is a total dick.

In the case of CDF47 in particular, his gawwd commands him to lie for jebus. His response is not to ask why, but how much. That is how far down the rabbit hole he goes.

It is interesting to note that his ID notion leads wherever one prefers. CDF47 thinks it leads to yahweh and the bible. MysticKnight thinks it leads to allah and the quran. Both carefully avoid discussing which is which and which is qurrect (intended). Why is that?

To CDF47 MysticKnight is a heathen, to MysticKnight CDF47 is a heathen. Yet they never engage any discussion about it. Why?

My only possible conclusion is that the entire concept of ID is not any path to any truth. If ID can lead to islam, christianity, hinduism, buddhism and so forth, it cannot possibly be any use whatsoever as a guide to anything.

It doesn;t have to lead to any god or religion.  IDers are constantly telling us that it;s not just their religion repackaged.  Well, okay, then stripping all of the blatantly religious assertions...it could only tell us that some sort of iterative process that produces things associated with intelligence, and point of fact produces intelligence itself..is at play.

One of the reasons I enjoy posting on atheist discussion forums is that it forces me to think of subjects in ways I probably wouldn't otherwise. This can serve as a source of inspiration for my research. Because I questioned the point of philosophy I was won over and now plan on writing a philosophy paper. And I'm also currently thinking about how I can build a self organised machinery that builds itself up from a collection of random parts without design. I am currently extending a previous experiment to test a hypothesis about how it can be done.

I don't think that's an entirely fair characterization. I don't think he's necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed, but to assign the blame as you have done is to ignore the natural seductiveness and appeal of the design hypothesis given certain assumptions about the world, and once ensnared in its web, to be unable to dispel its glamour. Heck, even I find the design hypothesis appealing and cogent, even in spite of having rather in depth knowledge of some of its failings.
