But you missed my overall point before. The only reason I brought up suffering was to counter your argument that the joy and beauty in life indicates a designer. Be that as it may, my beliefs are the only ones that would make this a fair and just universe and I refuse to believe that I live in a cruel unfair universe.
The universe is neither, the universe is indifferent.
The universe does not care what you like or don't like. What you prefer or don't prefer.
The universe is neither cruel nor kind, neither just or injust.
No amount of pretzel logic allows you to whitewash the universe with your own prejudices.

You wouldn't leave your children under the supervision of a babysitter that might not ever show up, would you? The world is full of children. And many of them suffer. I think you see my point.
