For atheism the proportions are 10% indoctrination and 90% due to emotional thinking, bias, and falling for logical falicies, etc. :-P

How dare you. I might cry.

This seems to be dueling assertions and probably all three of us could do better.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

I thought it was funny when A Theist called out the other Christians for whining about being mocked. I'm paraphrasing but it was something like
" The early Christians were fed to the lions, you can handle being insulted on an internet forum"
Lol.

Must admit I gave up reading it a while back.
Not me, I'm fascinated.

Glorifying God? In no way do I consider any of these people to be "glorifying" a deity I consider mythical. Even CL, as nice as she is, is only an individual primate. A religious one, for sure. But for every Catholic that is like CL , there are assholes and criminals that also represent Catholicism. So, you all get over yourselves. Like me, You only represent your self. That is a far better thing anyway.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

You forget that Christians consider themselves to be part of an army.....

I confess that I enjoyed CL's dismissal—or that's what I'm gonna call it even though she would not—of Neo most of all... HOWEVER I do think that point made by A Theist was the most insightful of the debate. I mean, I ended up caving and turning down my vulgarity and bad language on AF, but that was more for my own protection (and those who are close to me!) than anything. And I now wish to take the change in me elsewhere as well.

Some of the answers to the question of what would change your belief in that thread are reminiscent of a person in love who cannot imagine the possibility that their love may end. Unfortunately, love many times does end, in spite of the confidence expressed by star crossed lovers.

I expect all of their answers to be "nothing".
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
